CULTIVATING LEARNING WITH SPEECH THERAPY
At Silver Lining, we create a positive, nurturing and learning environment.
We provide full assessments in all areas of speech, language, fluency (stuttering), swallowing (feeding) and voice disorders. Our caring speech pathology team work with individuals and groups to set achievable unique goals for clients so that they can communicate effectively and confidently. We also offer online therapy so that families can assess therapy in their own time.
We accept Medicare-Chronic Disease Management Plans (formerly known an EPC) and Private Health Schemes. We are also service providers for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) as well as Children under the Helping Children with Autism (HCWA) package or Better Start Initiative (BSI) Scheme.

INDIVIDUAL SPEECH THERAPY
We work with speech and language skills, voice, fluency (stuttering) and swallowing (feeding) skills. We conduct assessments to identify the key learning areas as well as the most effective method of treatment and the frequency of the sessions. Everyone is unique and has their own best way of learning therefore our plans are customised to maximise success.
PARENT TRAINING
These programs are important to empower parents with the skills necessary to support a child's language and social development. This provides parents with tools and strategies to use at home to improve overall communication development.
SOCIAL SKILLS PROGRAM
Social skills are an integral part of a child's understanding of themselves and the world around them. It is the ability to interact and communicate with family and their peers to express themselves. This involves skills such as body language, eye contact, topic maintenance, taking turns in conversation, asking and responding to questions.
PRE-SCHOOL SCREENERS
Pre-school communication assessments allow parents to investigate their child’s language and communication skills within the areas of speech, language, voice and social skills. This also involves observation of meal time management.
Financial ASSISTANCE
At Silver Lining, we can help you with financial assistance that you may be eligible for such as:
- National Disability Insurance (NDIS)- For individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or other disabilities.
- Helping Children with Autism (HCWA) Schemes
